The CBFA executive board held their first meeting of the semester on August 24th, 2021.

Some highlights:

We decided to “streamline” the CBFA for this year. Our programming will take place during the traditional CBFA happy hour. These will be once a month on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30.

We will make plans to meet as a executive board with the new president. In the Spring we may invite the president to a happy hour.

The leadership of the Coalition of Black Faculty and Administrators (CBFA) took a hiatus for the months of May and June.

It is now the end of July, and the CBFA has begun to work on the website you are currently visiting. Our hope is to complete and launch this website before the Fall 2021 academic semester begins.

This website is essential for the stability and effectiveness of the CBFA. It will be a tool in which the CBFA can communicate with the Old Dominion University and the Hampton Roads community. We will post all of our activities on this site. It will also be the space where members pay their dues and (with registration) have access to the materials the CBFA have collected.
